Re: Slot-loading PSone?
haha, seen that 360 mod ages ago. He used a macintosh drive I remember.
Anyway, as for that PS1 slot loading drive, the video is from 2002 and it is originally in German. So I think most of the links are down...
Would of been epic to know what he did in that console however, because PS1 is the BEST console EVER (for the 5th generation)

Re: Slot-loading PSone?
I talked to the guy who made that video ( using google translate )
Anyway, he said he simply used a slot loading drive from a computer and replaced the CD drive with that of the PSone.

Re: Slot-loading PSone?
Well it is my first portable, and I am quite proud of it. Even though, PS1 is the best. My idea is to well, you will have to wait and see what happens after my Pn64...limpport wrote:Yet you're all hyped up about your N64 portableHaunted360 wrote:haha, seen that 360 mod ages ago. Re: Slot-loading PSone?
Yes actually, I did see that yesterday. But I did not want to sign up just to post...
Seems to be going very well! Good work.
I would be more than happy to also try one myself however. Improves skill, and knowledge about PS1's. (Which are awesome by the way).

Re: Slot-loading PSone?
Well mostly everyone is always mad at me for bumping topics.
BUMPING IS IMPORTANT!
Sure does
Check out http://forums.benheck.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=40590
and of course, http://google.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 1243#p1243
as mine is the first to be always updated...
I will be sure to get this running for sure the way I am going

Re: Slot-loading PSone?
Go for it! I ran out of funds and interest for my project, but I can't wait to see what you've made.
