snes station QUESTIONS + work log UPDATED

ok well i have a few questions
mainly what should i use for batterys im going to but a ps1 screen soon to so
that apoxy/puddy like stuff every one uses to make there cases can some one tell me what its called and maybe how to use it thanx
--update 1 i found a case for it im going to try and fit it all in a sony ps1 case the smaller oval ish one now i just have to find a smaller screen as i seen that i can funn it off of 4 recharge able aa's but i want to run the seen off the same power also can any one tell me ware to go online to get a small screen like i need unless i can use this one i have outta a old digital camera

i got a intec gamcube screen and i wanna know is there any way to drop down the power that it needed to use it on 5v for the snes 4 aa,s
