Besides the 2 extra buttons on the front? :P
or the fact that you can open it and show them the SNES cart inside

These are the same people that ask if they can make a PS2p the size of a PSP by reworking the motherboard or make an Xbox 360 run off batteries.

I wouldn't put it past them. :P
Cheers,

Damn, that's a badass hinge. Looks like you got it of the hatch of a tank. XD

wow, that is an awesome project, great work on the case!

i don't envy the amount of sanding you have left to do! but it will be worth it, even if you have to do it with a toothbrush!

can't wait to see this finished :)

This post is a statement of intent to resume work on this project SOON, i've got all winter to work on things and as soon as i get a proper area to do that in (working on it as fast as i can, massive house cleaning takes a lot of time  ) i'll be posting all regular like again!

lo and behold i actually did a little bit of work on the thing recently! removed the cartslot on the FC16GO board in preperation for resoldering it. i might work on doing that after i list some stuff on ebay and ship out some packages tomorrow, expect a few pictures in the not too distant future!

No photo-worthy progress yet but i have been testing my epoxy reinforced bondo out on the case! i've been working on filling in some low spots so i can get nice sharp even crisp edges on the case. once i find my file kit (i somehow managed to misplace it :? ) i'll get some pictures of the case! On the soldering front i have the cartslot removed and ready to solder, but right now the case is taking priority. once i get it shaped up to my satisfaction i'll start on the cartslot relocation and trying to decide what batteries i want to use, and working out how i'm going to mount everything nice and solid.
