Jungle Green N64 with regular jumper pack.

NUS-001(USA)
NS283495234
NUS-CPU-08-1

Haven't opened it yet, and I doubt I'll have the time to do so before Christmas.

Thank you Tibia, I have added your serial to the list :) (Please dont feel you have to open this N64 if you dont want to though)

I have also added spinout's 15 serials as well, sorry for the delay
spinout's serials have really expanded the list, and I also noticed that spinout now has the highest reported serial number with their NS298663130 NUS-CPU-09 revision.

If anyone does take off the heatsinks on any of the later motherboard revisions (NUS-CPU-05 onwards) please consider reading the info printed on the chips, or taking close-up pictures. I would really like to confirm some of the "motherboard revision chip history" section in the first post. For instance, I am curious to know if the 'RCP-NUS' was ever revised at all, or if there is an 'RDRAM36-NUS B' revision etc.

Greetings!

I have the ever elusive revision 6 board

NS233995890
NUS-CPU-06
MAV-NUS
RCP-NUS 9817KK054
RDRAM36-NUS (1 chip)
CPU-NUS A 9822XK042

seems this was the first one to use the single rdram

also have

NS235136963
NUS-CPU-05
I'll take him apart later

I also have a revision 4 board I was working on for a portable, but fried the a/v section, don't have the case on hand atm though. And another lower serial number one i'll have this weekend, which will hopefully be rev 3 or 4.

Thanks very much for the info tsukasa :D I have updated the serial list and the chip revision list now. I was beginning to wonder if there even was an NUS-CPU-06, and if it would have been the first to use one RDRAM chip, so thanks for clearing that mystery up :)

If its not too much trouble is there any chance you could take pictures of the front and back of the NUS-CPU-06 motherboard? I am very curious to see what it looks like, since this is the first time I have ever heard anyone mention this revision. If not is there any chance you could tell me what year the motherboard is dated? Its usually printed on the front of the motherboard just below the cartridge slot like "(C) 1996 Nintendo"

I think its interesting that the NUS-CPU-06 and NUS-CPU-07 revisions seem to be so rare, and also that their serial numbers dont perfectly fit in with the rest. It appears that Nintendo kept producing the NUS-CPU-05 motherboard right the way through the production of the NUS-CPU-06 and NUS-CPU-07, I would guess that this implies that there were at least two factories producing N64's, and perhaps only one of them was switched over to production of the 06 and 07 revisions. Alternatively maybe Nintendo had a lot of stock of the RDRAM18-NUS chips which would require the older board design, and they needed to use them up before fully switching to the new revisions (There are lots of possible explanations of course, I just like theorising!)

Thanks for so many pictures tsukasa :) I am slowly building up pictures of all the different motherboard revisions so they really help. I have also added your serials to the serial list.

One remaining revision that it would be good to have photos of is the NUS-CPU-07, currently the only picture I have seen is the one from this N64 Annotated Circuit Board pdf:-
http://infrid.com/rcp64/docfiles/Ninten ... le-BPT.zip" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
(pdf is inside a zip file)
Unfortunately the picture is not that clear, although its still an interesting pdf!

Thanks very much :) I have added your serial to the list, and its nice to see that your serial does fit with the one other reported NUS-CPU-07.

Thanks also for the pictures of the NUS-CPU-07, its great to finally see some photos of it :D If its not too much trouble is there any chance of a picture of the back of the motherboard as well?

Thank you :) I also added your serial to the list. Could I just ask one thing though, is the RAM on this N64 really labelled "RDRAM A38-NUS"? I only ask as its usually labelled "RDRAM36-NUS" and if yours is labelled differently it would be quite interesting!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks to cloyster I now have a picture of the elusive NUS-CPU-07, which was the last one I needed for a 'full' NTSC set - so I have now added pictures to the first post showing all the different N64 motherboard revisions! :D

For some revisions I only have one picture of the front, and some are a little blurry, but if anyone thinks they can take better pictures/scans of the front and back of any motherboard revisions (If possible without heatsinks) I would be happy to upload new pictures

Note that their are two PAL revisions that currently have no pictures, one is the NUS-CPU(P)-01 which I will be uploading pictures for shortly (I will take them myself) and the other is the NUS-CPU(P)-03 which so far has not been reported by anyone.

It is the RDRAM36-NUS. It was just hard to read. Sorry it isn't interesting. lol

Hey. I thought I already posted this (well I did in other threads), but I noticed that you dont have my awesome pictures of a rev 4 board included :P. You can read the IC serial numbers off of the picture.
