this is my dreamcast :o i didn't just change the shell and power led on it, i also replaced the clock battery and did that 1 wire mod that allows you to set it to any region you want.

awesome mod, dream cast is a nice system, I think I actually modded my Gamecube a lot, so its time for me to get DC :wink:

yep, the case is translucent. i got the shell from some guy who sells games and systems on craigslist.
i'll update with a better pic when i get some AAs for my camera, i took that pic with my crappy webcam

Great job!

Here's my modded DC.

It's a model 0 with the heat pipes.
It has a toggle switch on the left side which selects between stock 200Mhz and overclocked 240Mhz. The 40Mhz oscillator I used to overclock it is visible through a window in the GD compartment.
At stock 200Mhz the power led is orange, when it is overclocked the power led is blue.
Finally, I installed a white LED in the back left of the GD compartment which shines up and reflects off of the inside of the lid for ease of game changing in the dark.

Next time I will put a slide switch inside the GD compartment instead of on the outside to make it a true sleeper.
