ok guys, we all know that actual hardware is better than clones.

but that's not what this thread is about.

can we please stay on topic? this thread is for useful info, compatibility, and any questions about the retro duo.
they call me the Queen of Bondo, though maybe i should be called the Queen of Epoxy Putty

okay let me see my comments on retroduo.

I am only fifteen years old woah, and i am a 2D classic gamer. Well that is a bit odd most people my age go for xbox360.

Anyways

I recently ordered a retro duo off Nintendo repair shop, after watching reviews on it i thought it would be a lot cheaper and better, then buying a nes and snes.

After about 1 month of playing games on it both nes and snes, my freaking controllers screwed up.
Whoa what a piece of crap, so i hooked up my original snes controllers.
So far that's the only issue

Why couldn't they just print WARNING CONTROLLERS SCREW UP.
Or WARNING MAKE SURE YOU ORDER 2 SNES CONTROLLERS ASWELL.

I mean i love how it is so lightweight and portable, and a really fancy box plus air cooling vents.

But Christ sake slap a logo on the box saying (NOT 100% Worth it)

yeah, really. This is for adding to the compatibility list and giving useful hacking imformation for the retro duo. Not bashing the build quality of it. If you don't like it, suck it up and shut up about it.

now, to get this back on topic, if anybody has a retro duo and the nes game, kickle cubicle, could you test to see if it works?
rest in peace, Ronnie James Dio! \m/

Buy a refurbished nes and snes and just keep it up to date with new gear.
now that's what u say 110% capability
For us people of Europe, it's a very good hardware to play import games without an adapter. Lots of the greatest games never made it to Europe : Chrono Trigger, Seken Densetsu 3, Mario RPG...

BTW I almost finished my small website on the Retro Duo. It's not very good-looking, but I think it has some interesting features.

Hola. Everything in the list below works, some of them the sound may not be quite right but I can't be sure because my actual SNES is defunct and I have no PAL SNES.

Nintendo Entertainment System/USA/NTSC
Chip n' Dale: Rescue Rangers - works
Crystalis - works
The Magic of Scheherazade - works

Super Famicom/Japan/NTSC
Actraiser - works (perfectly)
Gokujou Parodius - works
Pop n' Twinbee - works
Ranma Nibunnoichi: Hard Battle - works
Rockman's Soccer - works

Super Nintendo/UK/PAL
Parodius - works

Have a wonderful evening,
TOM SELLECK

Just one question, is that small board at the top just the nes portion?
sorry for the bump, but I want to just want to be sure I know before I buy it, yoyu have been talking mostly about the snes portion.
i hate how electronic part suppliers give you an option on their website to filter your searches so that you can find a certain part and no results come up!

Wait, I thought that the nes side was rendered useless after you took away the snes side.
