Well, my bro's snes's light blinks for about a halfsecond(then goes dim) everytime I turn it on. Its run off of fully charged batteries. I tried the wall adapter, and same thing.

Has this happened to anyone else? If so, Tell me what you did to fix it?

Couuld the 7805 have died? How would I check?

It's definitely a power problem. Tried putting 5 volts into the regulator out yet?

Well, I don't have anything that gives me +5v, but I'm getting a 7805 in the mail.

Try checking if any of the components are loose.

-->If the light goes out after some time it might mean that a capacitor is decharging too quickly. So maybe one of the capacitors is loose. (The lower the capacitance the faster it decharges)
