Well, the price of a PSOne screen can change... I found one that isn't already at 50+ dollars... and I have about ~$30 right now... We'll see :P
(didn't you already finish your N64 wiring guide? and now your working on the GBA stuff?)

Yes, the N64 is all wired up, yes indeed; and the GBA is wired up too; however my final testing with the wiring will be with the two systems connected together (the left shoulder, right shoulder, start, A, B, D-pad all need to work with the same buttons on both systems). This I need to complete and check. I also need to relocate the GBA cart slot too; and finalise the on/off buttons. I will need to do quite a thorough testing proceedure before I am happy enough to consider it finished and can get everything worked into a case. If I were only doing an N64 system I would have finished it already; I am verging onto caution and lots of testing as I am just using basic electronics to combine two systems together (ok so far!).

I have 3 x PSone screens (PAL); one I used on my BigBoy Advance project (now cannibalised), which is now available again for a mod; one still boxed, and the one I am using on my current project. I paid about £26 delivered (about $53) for each of them. You will be VERY lucky indeed to get one delivered for $30 I would have thought!!

So if the screen cost you $30 and delivery was $15 then you paid $45 in total, which is only the equivalent of about $8 less than I had to pay. I live in the UK; the market for PAL is only for Europe and Australia. NTSC has a far greater coverage, so there will be more people with an NTSC PSone screen, which means greater supply, which means cheaper e-bay prices, so yes, you should be able to buy yours cheaper...

Ok people, I really haven't made any progress for the past 2 or so weeks because of SCHOOL! OMG!! It started on the 13th for me, and I've been loaded with homework :( But anyway, I finally broke down to bacteria's badgering and bought me a fan! Little $12 cheapy from our friend Radio Shack! Here is it in all of it's glory:<img src="http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x252 ... G_1065.jpg">
surprising how this tiny thing will have 12 volts going through it...

And Bacteria, WTF is that picture supposed to mean, because I'm starting to take it offensive
And Shmoogin77, Thank you for complementing the case, which will soon have a back half if the rain lets up here... :D
