yeah i know i cant cut a screen hole for crap can I [/quote]Turbo Tax 1.0 wrote: Very nice. You always impress me with your smooth designs, but perplex me with your lack of symmetry.
Tips:
Before you install the LCD, get some thin paper and lay it on the screen. Lightly rub the pencil on the outline of the LCD frame, and tape it to your case, then cut with a dremel leaving a couple millimeters left. Then, get a coarse file and take the worst out, then fine-grind it with a small file. It takes about a half hour, but I think you'll like the results
That portable is very small, I like the case especially. The screw holes look quite nice. I'm going to have to see how the snes mini compares to the FC twin..

Turbo Tax, this is what you need:Turbo Tax 1.0 wrote:im looking to replace the 7805 in it with a dc-dc if anyone who has used one in place of a 7805 in the past has any recommendations i'd love it.

Ive used one in my other portable. It output a stable 5v with only a little over 6v input, which is damn impressive by me. Best part about these switching regulators is the lack of heat. You can get rid of that heatsink, and maybe squeeze in a battery.
