My N64 is finally freed from the wall. I've gotten it to run for 3 hours on batterys! Without the Screen LED mod!

Do you guys think it's really worth risking ruining the screen, and just getting an extra hour and a half (I think that's what I would get,4500maH)
I'm very content with three hours.

Tell me what you think.

Don't bother. 3 hours is more then enough. And led modding the screen makes it look crap (in my opinion).

If you go on road trips and stuff, do it. My batteries are 5000mah and it's perfect for a day on the road. If you don't do that kind of stuff, I guess it'd be fine without the led mod. You can make the mod not look like crap by using 6 LEDs. It's a bit harder to fit them but it looks fantastic. When I did the mod, I was worried about killing it, but it was actually pretty easy to not kill it. Just be careful with the LCD glass and remember how to put it back together.

Lol, no comment...

Can you draw me a quick diagram of where you put the 6 leds, and what direction you faced them? ty.

The reason you only see 1 lead for each LED is because they're in vertical to make it fit better.

use four LEDs. if you use small ones and keep all the diffusing stuff and remember to put it BESIDE the thick plastic and not below it or over it, it will look beautiful.

I'm thinking of buying a Car Adaptor for road trips, and at home I'm just going to the the screens DC Adaptor. So the only time I'm going to use batteries is when there isn't a power supply, like in caves, in the year 1574, etc.
