1) Busted track

2) Solder short

3) Wires too long

Solutions
======
1) Be sure to check ALL the tracks on the Radica for breaks - you wouldn't BELIEVE how crappy the mainboards on these mass produced 'el-cheapo' multi game devices are.

2) Check to make sure you haven't accidentally bridged or shorted anything - it's REALLY easy to do!

3) Wires should ideally be about the thickness of standard IDE cable (except GROUND wires, which should be thicker). They should have a MAX length of around four inches from the mainboard to the cart slot.

NOTE - you can NOT link to the cart slot via some veroboard, even if the cart slot is ON the veroboard. It just stops the Radica from working.

I've been wanting to get my hands on an SF2 Radica for a while to see how they added the second controller port (also to see if the design differs - which I suspect it does...)

If you are sick of trying to get it to work, you could always post it to me and let me do the work for you!

(Mind you, I live in the U.K. though...)
