Happy birthday Dreamcast! :D I was just playing for 5 hour's till my DC froze :). I was gonna post one of these, until I saw there was one already.

"Thunder, rain, and lightning
Danger, water rising
Clamour, sirens wailing
It's such a bad sign

Shadows of dark creatures
Steel clouds floating in the air
People run for shelter
What's gonna happen to us!?

All the steps we take, all the moves we make, all the pain at stake
I see the chaos for everyone who are we what can we do
You and i are same in the way that we have our own styles that we won't change
Yours is filled with evil and mine's not there is no way i can lose

Can't hold on much longer - but i will never let go
I know it's a one way track - tell me now how long this'll last
I'm not gonna think this way - nor will i count on others
Close my eyes and feel it burn - now i see what i've gotta do

Open your heart, it's gonna be allright

Ancient city blazing
Shadows keep attacking
Little children crying
Confusion, hopeless anger

I don't know what it can be but you drive me crazy
All your cunning tricks make me sick, you won't have it your own way

Can't hold on much longer - but i will never let go
I know it's a one way track - tell me now how long this'll last
I'm not gonna think this way - nor will i count on others
Close my eyes and feel it burn - now i see what i've gotta do

Open your heart...and you'll see...

If it won't stop, there will be no future for us
Its heart is tied down by all the hate, gotta set him free

I know it's a one way track - tell me now how long this'll last
Close my eyes and feel it burn - now i see what i've gotta do

Gotta open your heart, dude!

Can't hold on much longer - but i will never let go
I know it's a one way track - tell me now how long this'll last
I'm not gonna think this way - nor will i count on others
Close my eyes and feel it burn - now i see what i've gotta do

Open your heart, it's gonna be allright"

I had to put those lyrics. It was awesome :P

And when I hear that song I think of my DC.

EDIT: lifeisbetterwithketchup, they play CDR's out of the box.

Mine doesn't. I burned a Utopia boot disc with Discjuggler and it wouldn't boot. I found this, and am going to try it when I find time.

You just burned it wrong. All Dreamcasts will play cdr's. There was some stipulation a while back about how some DC's manufactored after a certain date would not play CDR's but that has been proven false.

Yeah it was proven that people that bought a later release were dumb and just didn't know how to burn things properly. Sad that next month that SEGA will be disowning its greatest child :( Honestly SEGA needs to get their crap together and rerelease the dreamcast open up new servers and make give it a built in BBA. I'm sure if they released something like tha for like 80 bucks everyone would buy it.

Hell SEGA could finally get their crap together and make a HDDVD player with the ability to play dreamcast games. Hell it could combat it's old enemy for a final showdown. Thats what we need, an HDreamcast :)

... That's actually not a bad idea. As for a stand-alone Dreamcast re-release with some extra crap thrown in, I don't think that that would sell much more than even one of those more-publicized plug-in television games.

The dreamcast already outputs VGA so giving it HDMI output wouldn't be too large of a step up anyway. crap, I'm sure SEGA could do it and then people might take them seriously again.

ANNUAL BIRTHDAY BUMP!

Sucks that I'm in school all day today and don't have time to play. Guess I'll observe the holiday and play bomberman online and skies of arcadia all day tomorrow.

Wow not only is the Dreamcast the same age as my dog, it's the same birthday as my mother... what the odds?

This gets me interested in breaking out Grandia II and playing a bit.

I'm celebrating by playing my dreamcast right beside my PC on my monitor. (I have an official Sega VGA adapter.) Yay! DC in 480p!
