Well here's the deal: I lost one of my speakers in the several months that I was working on school rather than portables. But that's ok. My design only has room on the right side. I COULD have 2 speakers there if it was absoutely neccesary.
But does the SNES have any sounds that I'd be missing if I only had mono output? If the answer is yes, do you think 2 speakers on the same side runniong stereo would be better than having one running mono (other than being twice as loud)?
When was the last time Mr. Green was used?

You might be able to hook up the left and right audio lines to the same speaker, then it would have whatever was different between the two.Kurt_ wrote:Well here's the deal: I lost one of my speakers in the several months that I was working on school rather than portables. doe the sound output on a snes have to be amplified or can you just hook a speaker with a pot for volume controll and have it able to be heard well? im guessing it needs and amp (my psone screens audio circuit is dead i think)

I hooked headphones up to my N64 and it was fine, they had the volume adjust on them so I didn't blast out my ear drums.Triton wrote:doe the sound output on a snes have to be amplified or can you just hook a speaker with a pot for volume controll and have it able to be heard well? im guessing it needs and amp (my psone screens audio circuit is dead i think)
