*cough* I really need an answer but if it's because your internet is out I don't blame you at all.

The Li-Ion battery pack is a Polaroid BT-41 and when you stack the cells on top of each other, they are about the size of 6 AA batteries. Pretty small!

Also, the buttons ARE held in place! I take a dremel with a cutoff wheel and shave off the plastic bits in the original controller. So, the buttons DO stay aligned perfectly just as in the original controller. It does take a bit of work though.

I am not making anymore L64s. I may make a different model if I design another, but the current design is not optimized for production. Jeff's L64 took several months, and I just don't have the time.

Amazing, astounding, almost flawless! *Points to crying D-pad in corner*

That is amazing though! How did you wire a switch for switching inbetween 1p builting and an external controller? Also is there a way to wire a switch so you can plug it back in to your tv? These are things that a perfect portable should do. ;) I'm working on mine. At first I was going after your first N64p's design until i found this one. I'm going for a sweet franken-case mod though. It would be somewhat like handheldcc's though, but with the d-pad at the bttom of the middle. Assuming its not to heavy!

It appears Marshall's page is down, and I'm wondeirng if there were pics of the battery out of the case. If it's the size of 6 AA's, then I'd like one seeing as I was planning on using just that.

Pics Marshall?

What, did the old one crash from all those hits  ? Anyways, the new site looks great! It'll be nice to have an N64 resource from the master himself.

Well, mostly, the recalled battery is a BT42. Mine is a BT41, which hasn't caught fire yet. (It cuts power if you short the output leads)

But yes, that's the exact DVD player I got it from. And the LCD is for my c64 laptop....

Thanks. I don't suppose you're willing to take your L64 apart to take battery measurements for me, eh?

If all you want is an N64p, buy the one made by Joevennix! He's looking for a buyer, and his is pretty awesome:
