Hello,
I want to build a portable psx, but I can't find a tutorial to build one. The only tutorials I found were for the PSOne. In this Forum I found a thread where someone succesfully build a psx portable. So it is possible. But I can't a guide. I hope you can help me.
Thank you.

I think this thread belongs in the 2000's gaming board.

PSX, the Japanese DVR, right? Like this- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PSX_(DVR" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) ?
You'd be luck to come across one for cheap. Unless you've already got one.

No sorry I meant http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_(console" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) the ps1, but the old version and not the new smaller one.

I think he means the original Playstation. Some of the early promo stuff called it PSX, and it stuck. I differentiate between PSOne and the original, usually with PSX. But that's just me.

It has been done here a few times (the last model of the PS1 had a smaller board than the PSOne (in surface area anyway) ). But there won't be any good guides on how to do it, you'll have to figure most of it out. Of course if you don't need it to be really small it's fairly easy to use stock connections.
