Well, my parents and my mate call the Nintendo 64 "The 64". But i traded it in and regret it after coming to this forum.

My parents usually call my stuff by their corrosponding names.

My portable is called my project. but its not finished so thats ok.

I use abbreviations for all my consoles, so its easy for them to remember(kinda).

God my mom keeps calling my DS a Gameboy, Ughhh, and my uncle refers to games systems as Playstation.

But I mean my mom will say, "Are you going to bring your Gameboy." and I keep correcting her and it still hasnt got through. I mean She Likes the DS so much that she wants her own, but she keeps calling it a gameboy.
And I think someone in my Family Thought my Friends Xbox 360 was a PS3.

Yay! My thread's still alive!

Isn't the thread "on track", though? Because the topic was the mis-naming of video game consoles, and that's how it is now.

My mom doesn't know system names. But she knows the N64 as "The one she can play tetris on." Everytime a system is mentioned, she asks the question "Is that the one that plays tetris?"
Hey, sup?
