I'm making a PSp right now and I'm currently trying to get a nice screen. I hear that the official Sony screen is reall good, but it's TONS more expensive than, say, the intec screen. Is the official screen worth all that extra money?

It all depends. If you want to make your psp really small, then yes, but if you're just going to put it in a big case or something, then maybe not.

I picked up the HipGear lcd/controller for the PS2 at Fry's for around $50, and supposedly it's got a $20 dollar rebate. It's only a 2.6" screen, but it's got speakers, as well as all the brightness/contrast/volume controls built into it.

A question though, what is the power supply on the Sony LCD? The hipgear is 12V, 500 mA.
