battery confusion

Post by Link89 » Wed Jul 07, 2004 11:02 pm

I'm really confused on powering the playstation. I know the screen takes 7.5 volts but how much does the system need? I was just going to plug the yellow plug inside each power plug and solder wires to the positive and negative wires inside. How many volts does the system take. Please help me.

The power adapter that came with mine reads output at 7.2v dc. If your interested I believe it said the power consumption is at 2 amps.

If your looking for the battery type to use I going with the same Gannon uses, RC car rechagable from radio shack (who else). Chargers going to set you back 10-20 and the batteries will 20-35 for the Ni-MH
