Authentic NES buttons and labels
Here you can see the brightness adjusting pot, and the Player 2 port. Also the neat little velcro tab for keeping the battery lid shut.
Of course it has to have AV out
I managed to use the original GB volume controll with the Hip Gear audio amp. Above it is the power switch.
It really isn't done yet. For some reason the P2 controller went on the fritz and it needs messed with. The only button that works is the A button, even pressing B triggers A. But for some reason the light gun works perfect! (using AV out on a TV of course
).And of course I need to fix the video on it. The NOAC video is blurry, and I need to put some trim pots for the color and contrast on the LCD. I will get a scan of the insides when I open it up to fix all that.
Fitting the audio amp. the screen, the SJ3, the cartidge connector, and all that other crap was unbelievably tricky! Mostly cause of all the wire involved with it.
One really cool thing about this is it has two switches on the side of the cartridge connector. When they are open you play the 76 built in games, but when they are closed (the cartridge pushes them closed when it is inserted)it plays the cartridge! It's pretty much an automatic game switcher.

Also, this sweet little portable was stolen from his daddy on a skiing trip in jan-feb (exact date escapes me) of 2006. If you see it on ebay please PM me! I would love to catch whoever stole it.
