Could you use a Retro-bit NES in place of an original NES?

Probably...but you'd need to modify the old case a bit to fit the retro-bit's board...and also extend the wires to meet the original ports.

Thanks.
Do you know anyone who can make me a portable fairly cheap?

I dunno what you'd describe as cheap, but price would depend on what all you'd want done.

As for someone to build a portable....I'm more or less available ;)

Well, all I want is a portable NES, using the Retro-bit system. I can mail the system and pay for the rest if it comes to it.

Well, that's obvious lol. I mean the specifics of what you'd want in the portable--such as appearance, what you'd like it made out of and things like that. ...When it comes to portables, it's all about customization 8)

Maybe a design like this?

I'd love one made of wood, of that's ok.

Yowza, wood eh?

Well...I'm not sure it could be made that small with wood.

But then, I've never used wood for anything more than molds for my cases.

Shoot. I bet I could make it work with the wood stuff...I do have all the tooling/mad skills to make it happen 8) (plus, I could use something else to do after I finish my current commission lol)
