So I've been wiring up a super joy (13 pin revision) and everything has been working great so far. That guide is really handy.
But I've run into a problem with the controller. The only button it registers is A. I've tried the controller that came with the super joy, and I've wired up an original NES controller with the same result. I'm positive that I have everything wired correctly.
If someone has had this problem before and knows how to fix it, I'd really appreciate some advice.
