Best 8Bit system Original/Clones

Post by Wicker2015 » Sun Mar 27, 2011 9:48 am

Okay i am having a debate on which it is that i should purchase, i currently have a decent library of games and was curios is this console worth buying? ^^ like its pros / cons i know that it has Wireless Controllers which i really dig but i hear the reaction on the controllers could be off for a fast paced game like ninja gaiden. Or should i stick with the original nes *Note* i don't play many unlicensed games either.

Here are my choices:
Generation NEX Videogame Console: Wireless controllers i like that but its pricey $75-90$
Retroduo 2.0: It looks to cheap and i had a friend who said the controllers break way to fast, but i like the 2 in 1 $40-50
Or the simple nes, i can get it for mid range 50$-60$

All clones have a few game that don't work with them. I can't speek for Wireless Controllers on a NES.

Since you like the like the 2 in 1's you can read about them here.

If you not in bum fark egypt you can look for a real NES that will need the 72 pin replaced that would total in the 40$ to 50$ at thrift store and some times craigslist will have one that they don't know that can be fixed They offen post "Some times when game is in the NES the screen blinks and light on nes too."

The bet NES clone I've found is the Retro-Bit system. It's at least 95% compatible with the NES library, and it doesn't suffer any strange emulation issues like odd sounds and random graphical glitches.
