Okay, first, what you can do is go buy a copy of giromite for the NES, open up the case, and inside is a famicom to NES converter!
I will take commissions on anything!!!!*

that is, anything but arcade systems...

Only if it's one that has it inside

Yes, that's usually true.

If you're looking on ebay, it can sometimes be hard to tell, though.

I have 3 copies of Gyromite all 5 screws carts. None of them have it. I sure almost all of the Stack Up games have one.

But I think you could get a gyromite on ebay where the seller flat out tells you that it has an adapter in it for less money than stack up. I got a soccer game that came with the adapter (the seller stated that it had one inside).

True, but I got my 2 copies in town and couldn't open in them store to see. The 3rd is to my ROB. I also have Stack Up and all part for the ROB to that go to it.

You can also get lucky with certain other early black-label NES games. For instance: my copy of Excitebike. Until I opened the cartridge, I had no clue that it was the Japanese Excitebike PCB fitted onto a Nintendo-made Famicom to NES converter. You can add Excitebike to the list of games with converters.

Odds of finding a Gyromite with a converter is about 1 in 10. Excite Bike, Hogans alley, and a couple other black box games are possible, but you'd invest a lot into finding just one.

All Stackups have one, but it'd kind of expensive.

I'd buy gyromites to find one.

(And if you want to go the expensive route, try to find a 5 screw version of Mike Tysons Punch Out. VERY hard to find. Then try to find one with a converter. Lots of money to find even a 5 screw one, and I don't think any have a converter, but who knows?!?!? (But you would get huge money off THAT variant, so it might pay off!))

Haha, good luck. The one with the converter in gyromite also has a different shade of color on the label. It might be too small to tell on PC, But it might be able to help.

And most 5-screw games don't have any, just a select few and a couple rumored ones. There's even a UBER rare Mike Tysons Punch Out 5-screw. If you find the 5 screw your in GREAT luck. Find one with a converter in it, you'll hit the rarity and cash jackpot! XD
