This portable suffers the unfortunate consequences of hot glue used to mount the screen... and yet it turns out the screen is dead. Maybe if I get my hands on a hot knife or something I can resurrect this one.

De-natured alcohol or 92% Isopropyl alcohol. Put a few drops on the glue near the sides and it peels right off. Both can be bought at Wal-Mart. De-natured near the paint supplies and 92% in the beauty section.
