How to mod a Nes?

Post by Wicker_2009 » Fri Oct 30, 2009 7:48 am

I was wandering how people turned there plain old Grey nes, into nice and shiny color coated nes. Because i have seen for example the zelda mod and i thought it was cool, but i was wandering what materials i would need and etc to get a metallic nes like Silver shiny and controllers. Would i paint them or what?

And if not metallic then purple.

Yes i understand this question may be retarded but i don't know if people just pain them or what.

You can just paint and finish the case if that's what you want. You could also add a so called "NESMod" (Ambiguous name eh) which gives you stereo sound output.

If you want to make a portable, you should find a NES clone, a so called NOAC.

We have a member here who paints them. His turn out really nice.
