S i was rewiring the cart slot to the yobo and i saw an extra wire, then i looked around the 72 pin connector and there was an extra pin all the way on the other side. So i guess my question is can i just solder the wire to that pin or do i have to rewire the cart slot?

So, you are saying that all of your wires are off by one pin? Ugh! I've wired an entire SNES cart slot backwards before - that was frustrating.

I think you already know the answer to this one but are hoping you don't have to redo all that work :P

Don't feel too bad...on my P-NES projekt, I somehow managed to get 3 wires off at the end of the slot

i've had to rewire a n64 cart slot over 4 times. it's a pain, but it gets easier every time.
