after viewing this guys awesome card instructable I immediately had ideas...
would it be humanly possible to make the 8 bit legend of zelda work on a dot matrix display?
of course it would need colour changing LEDs and way more of them.
just highly curious..

Re: idea:legend of zelda business card
you meen like a small led-cluster-display (like in stadiums or on concerts but smaller)? Sure, why not?
Re: idea:legend of zelda business card
just use a screen. it would be much smaller, and you wouldnt need some insane control board.

okay these screens are composite input and a small low electricity consumption so would there be any hope of make a super joy 3 small enough to fit business card size?
the game would have to wired in as well

It also says it can take composite, which the NES outputs, yeah that screen will work, it looks pretty expensive though.Taiben wrote:I dont think the NES puts out RGB.

Re: idea:legend of zelda business card
That screen is WAY overkill for an NES.
Re: idea:legend of zelda business card
well if i want it to be business card thin i cant think of an lcd screen that will be thin enough and use little power.
Re: idea:legend of zelda business card
I have an Idea. Although it will be a little bigger than a business card.
Look around for the dude that made the NES in a Controller.
If you could do that except, put a small screen and remove the controls and make them external, you would have it down!!!
