khaag - Ah, see - quite funny actually!

Mario - :D

Kyo - Indeed - worth a try though. I was going to offer it at a price you would have found hard to resist; would have been worth it to see you doing a "U turn". :D

Wouldn't even take 'em for free. Well, I'd probably take them, but I wouldn't use them.

It's not just about the product for me. It's also about making it. Making it myself, specifically

No issue, commendation to you for being determined to make your own case - I will be most interested to see how you do. If you need advice, I am happy to help if I can.

I got a good piece of advice for all of you out there - using a public PC room on your school is not fun, it's torture. A bit of explanation; I go to a school that combines the 3 different german schools (hauptschule (for dumb people), realschule (average), gymnasium (good people)). Now the good thing about that is that if you start out as an average kinda guy or even bad in your first 4 years, you can still work your way up and study later. The bad part is that you got all these little moron kids on your school who think it's funny to annoy you while you're trying to browse in peace.

but enough blogging. I just got a delivery from www.reichelt.de, nothing I really needed for this project (just making stashes, tryin' to be prepared).

More updates on the weekends! Kinda busy right now

Just a thought, rather than using a PSone screen and trimming it down, how about using that Chinese screen you got (PS its screen is made in Japan) as it is about the min size you can make a PSone screen mobo already and also its quality you say isn't so good, as the Atari has bad graphics, might be a good use for that screen?

As I said in the relevant thread, you won't be able to remove the blue board, so it's not really saving any size. Also no, I will not use the screen. The resolution is ok (you don't need a too high one for atari, obviously), but the image is really blurry and sorta distorted. You can test the screen yourself, the PS2 and PS1 video in adaptors are identical

Is "Argh" pronounced the same way as what you would scream when stabbed in the side with a knife?

Really looking forward to this being finished.

Yes, similar noise I expect. Would you be a test subject? I have a knife...

Kyo hasn't been here since 10 February; looks like he has gone away again for a few more months, like last time...?

you guys, I suck. I still haven't finished this. I'm not even sure where it is right now. I've been busy with real life and my website and I can't say that I'm not anymore, but I'm gonna work on this again. What I have to do is pretty much only the case. And maybe fix some stuff because it's been lying somewhere in my room for months.

I got my own camera! It's a neat one and it makes taking pictures much easier. It also broke and I have to send it in, and because of the aforementioned me sucking I haven#t done that yet. I don't know why, but everything I own seems to break. My DS lite (sent that in like 3 days before the warranty expired. Got a new one, I think I'll sell it on ebay before I break it again), My laptop, my harddrive and my camera. And it's all damages that are more or less out of my control.

Now let me find my PSU and see if it still works.

Haha, I got those from the guy that had the 170 screens. 14 pounds a piece, plus shipping. I bought some more used ones from her, but these have yet to arrive. I know it's very hard to come accross a decent deal for the screens so I decided to just buy the 3 she had in stock.
