NOAC Lightgun Pinout

Post by Guest » Thu Dec 14, 2006 10:15 pm

Hey All, I'm just getting started with portabalizing and wanted to start with an easy project before building a portable NES. I decided that I would first adapt the lightgun that came with the NOAC to put a zapper cable on it for use with the NES. Yeah, it's cheap, but it is a whole lot quieter than the Zapper! I've used all of the pinout/wiring diagrams I could find in these forums, but have had no success so far.

Does anyone know what color wires on the NOAC lightgun match up with the NES Zapper cable? I've come to the point of soldering random cables to pins and am getting frustrated that such a simple project is holding me up.

Thanks!

I found this using the search function at the top of the forum:

Hope this helps, but from what I've read, the NOACs / guns are not an easy swap. Which NOAC are you using?

The only things you have to do actually is to build a famicom to NES controller adapter. The pinout are available on those forums. It's not too complicated (I've done it myself).
