Hi! I'm planning on making a NESp with a custom case, using the Megajoy and a PSOne screen, and I just have a few questions to help me plan.
1. Is there any way of making a switching system for the Megajoy, so that you can choose to either play the inbuilt games, or the game in the cartridge slot? Or does it auto-detect whether there is a game in or not?
2. Does anyone have the dimensions of the PSOne screen? (just the screen, no casing, as I'm trying to draw a mock-up of my case design)
3. Does anyone know of sellers of the Megajoy in the UK (apart from ebay)? I would order one of them from the manufacturers website, but the shipping is very expensive!
Thanks
My first portable, NESp, few questions

Well, you could make a switch to turn the ROMs on/off, if that's what you mean. By connecting a wire from pin 1 to pin 60 on the Famicom board, it kills built-in ROMs, so to add an on/off function, just throw a switch between them. Although I don't see why you'd want to do this, seeing as the ROM screen boots up when there's no game inserted, but when there is one, the game automatically boots.....

Thanks guys! And CTFan, I realised after I posted that my question was a bit stupid . Considering that the whole switching thing is pointless. Thanks for the help!
EDIT: I think I've found a UK seller of the Mega Joy. Pretty cheap as well? Just making sure, is this the right one? Which has a cartridge slot as well?
