how to mod xbox 360 controller to work on PS3
Moderator:Moderators
I've been trying to figure out how to use Xbox 360 controllers to work on PS3 because i feel more comfortable holding 360 controllers. there was this method where you use a connector called XCM cross battle connector but as much as i want i don't want to spend money on that and.

You'll either have to spend money on that adapter and be stuck with Wired, or more money on someone to make a PS360 for you to be Wireless, or even more time and money on stuffing a PS3 controller in the 360 shell yourself, which can be done a couple of different ways.

Screwing up is one of the best learning tools, so long as the only thing you're not learning is how to screw up.

Or you can do it the REALLY hard way:
Either:
Reverse-engineer the PS3 bluetooth connection, plug a wired xbox controller into a microcontroller controlling a bluetooth transmitter, and make it work,
Or:
Get a wired PS3 controller, reverse-engineer its protocol, reverse-engineer the wired XBOX 360 controller's protocol, and make it work
Honestly, if I had the time, I'd consider attempting this, but I'd rather not waste about a year of my life...
