Yes it's possible, and was done almost 2 years ago now.

I didn't think it was incredibly hard, but I've done harder things with the DS3 and 360 controllers before, so I'm not really the right one to answer that question.
It's easier than building a PS360, but has it's own challenges.

It's easier than building a PS360, but has it's own challenges.Screwing up is one of the best learning tools, so long as the only thing you're not learning is how to screw up.
