Xbox 360 Problem

Post by XxPakManxX » Wed Aug 24, 2011 9:01 pm

ok, so i have a friend who had a xbox 360. Unfortunately the disk drive broke, so he stupidly threw it away
He has given me the xbox but it doesnt have a drive, if i buy a new drive, wont it not hook up because it doesn't have the code thing from the original drive. And since i dont have the original one, i vant flash the code out of it and put it into a new one. What should I do?

I think you can change the serial on the Xbox motherboard. Not to sure. I dislike Xbox 360's security...

If not, just flash it, and sell it to some guy on eBay to have the headache

Yes. There are many guides out there. Some are incorrect and old, and some are correct. Be sure to do research and figure it all out before you start flashing. lol.
