PS3 Laptop Troubles

I don't know what to do about the input HERE. I have made the PS3 as thin as I can, but this makes it about 3/4" thicker, and I have to put the power supply on top of that. I would like to put the power supply beside the motherboard, but it needs to be on the plug. What can I do to get around this?
