Okay I'm having a little trouble with this. I have an xbox slim and it has a small cable (I should say I thin plastic strip kind of that I do not see how to extend) in the face plate for the touch sensitive power and eject buttons. I'm working on a xbox 360 portable and the rol will be moved a little longer than the cable. How can I fix this?

Re: Moving Rol And Eject Button
lolwut.
i think i got it;
That is the eject, it works just like these things:
, with the little rubber mushy thing.
get some fine sand paper and sand some of the black stuff off, it should reveal copper.
Then simply wire a tact switch to it.
I dont know about the power button, if you can get the chrome button off i might be able to help some more, if you cant get it off you may have to redesign the power button location,possibly in the same area as ben's 1st couple of laptops.
