I'm in the process of building an xbox 360 in a case, and I'm finding it hard to get the power connector soldered to the motherboard off. While I was browsing the internet today, I came across this: http://www.dealextreme.com/p/xbox-360-t ... able-56549" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I think if you cut the cord in half, you could probably solder the wires directly to the xbox 360 motherboard. This would allow you to essentially destroy the power connector on the motherboard, making it easier to get off. By destroy I mean pull apart the connector with pliers so you can desolder each pin one by one.
I might order one of these later if I can find one shipping from the US.
Possibly a good way to relocate the power brick

what wattage is your iron?
The solder used on the xbox 360 is unleaded, therefore it needs to be heated more in order for it to liquify
