Use portable dvd player for xbox laptop screen

i was planning on keeping the internals of it except for CD drive and battery etc., cutting down the case but using the same hinges and screen bezel..(not sure if thts the right word) and then wiring the video straight through the VGA port..sooooo basically the screen would be operating separate from the Xbox.. same principle as using a computer monitor right?

depends what type of input the screen takes, but yeah that would definetly word

are you planning on putting the xbox inside this case to make an xbox laptop or have it seperate?

its a VGA input which should be pretty easy to figure out..i wanna try and keep the case for the screen and attach it to a custom case i make for all the hardware kinda like this...but im gonna be making my own lol

yeah, that would work really well, just make sure you can build the laptop part and fit everything inside

it would look nice once finished aswell
