Looking for a 360Ps/Ps360

Post by Bosceltics » Mon Nov 15, 2010 5:48 pm

Well I currently have an xbox 360 and playstation 3. The thing is unlike most people I love the ps3 controller over the xbox 360's. So what im saying is does anyone have a ps3 style controller that works with the 360 (wired) for sale?

Tldr: Looking for a wired ps3 controller compatible with xbox

Step 1: get a 360 controller
Step 2: put 360 controller into dual shock controller shell
Step 3: ????
Step 4: profit!

no im actually serious. rarely will you find one already made for sale. if you do its going to be expensive. i suppose you could commission one from somebody, but again it will be expensive.

I thought up of a cheaper way to get a ps3 feel to the controller. Switch the d pad and left analog stick and change the analog sticks to ps3 ones. That's pretty much almost as good and costs a lot less I'd assume.

not really. just about as much work is involved as the full swap.

But would it cost less if I provided a ps3 and 360 controller just to switch the d-pad and analog stick. Then switch out the 360 sticks for ps3s?

Clearly you haven't done both of them before, as the full swap (3PS60) isn't even in the same ball park as the D-pad/LS (360PS) when it come to the amount of work involved, the 3PS60 is far more complex to build.

Technically it would be cheaper, unless you wanted it painted after the shell modification. If you wanted it done up fairly nice the price tag between them could be similar having it painted by someone that would do a decent job on it.
