Wii Laptop Battery Help

Post by stanokaka » Thu Aug 19, 2010 5:43 pm

Okay, so im buying these 12v 5000mAh batteries for the wii.... http://www.batteryspace.com/nimhbattery ... s10xc.aspx
I need this adapter aswell .... http://www.batteryspace.com/connectorad ... lmale.aspx
And this is how im going to connect it all together.... Image
And im going to be using ribbon cable for the extra ground wire as i have been told i could....
But my biggest problem is....
How do i solder the ribbon cable wire on so that i have two ground wires?
One going to the connector and the other to the wii?
Thank You And Someone Please Reply To My Answer ASAP.

Those are power wires, so using ribbon cable = bad idea. Especially for a wii.
Get thicker wires.

And just solder both the wii and the screen to the same spot.

The wii easily(apparently) runs at 14.8v, just get a good li-ion pack instead of that big hulk.
