Screen is a 18,5" Phillips LED monitor. 360 is connected via VGA as this screen didn't support dvi/hdmi. Resolution is 720p. Sound amp is a Phillips speaker set. Console is american thus it only powers of 110v. It is also modified to play backup's. Your are still able to go on Live with the 360 as it has stealth firmware (you all know how long that lasts  ) For the rest I explain the features in the video.

Got most of the parts so can get ready to build this beast.

I'm using a 18.5" phillips led screen. As for sound i'm using a little phillips speaker set. Placement will be as seen on pic. Will be fliptop and have place for a controller.
Here are some pics of my work so far:

Because I'm using a US power brick it can only be powered of 110v. The screen can take 110v and 230v If anyone knows of a good small atx power brick that can power an xbox360 please let me know.

What revision is it? I think there are 200w pico psu's that might work.

I'm using a pelican case as well for my laptop. I was thinking of doing something similar to what you did for screwing the acrylic down into. What type of material is that? I was thinking about just using some plastic epoxy (like that magic putty stuff) and going about it that way.

Try industrial strength Velcro. Ben used it in his pelican laptop.

Wow. I didn't even know Ben made one using a pelican case. haha

The velcro is a good idea for mounting the electronics to the case. What about the surface acrylic being mounted to the openings of the case though?

EDIT: Now that I think about it, it looks like that's just wood on the sides, and I could technically just velcro that to the sides. Unless someone has a better idea.

I just glue the wood with epoxy to the sides. It's as solid as a rock. And is easie to screw into. Acrilic would be better but I didn't want to bother cutting strips of it since I had the wood laying around.

As for a pico that's out of the question. Cost's are far too much and I need to get a power brick with it.

There are mini ITX power supply's but can't find one which is a nice size and cheap. I'm looking for one that 170/200 watts.

But for now I'll just use the US power brick.

Update:

Here's a little video of it in action and most thing rewired. To be honest this is the easiest project I have done yet. Just desoldering a couple of ports en rewiring them pretty straight forward  Disc fliptop was also easy to do. Just cut the disctray motor and it works!! This is coming together really well. I didn't know you were going to paint the clear part. I thought it would have been cool to leave it clear and maybe throw in some sexy lighting, but it would probably look better painted. Are you planning on machining the bottom panel, as well?

I'm actually going to be using a FLEX ATX power supply for mine. You might consider that. I'd kind of like to see someone else make it work before I do. Here's the link.

Also, I watched your video on youtube and what sound amp and speakers are you using?

Hmm those do look interesting. For this project I'm gonna stick with the us power brick. Making it only power of 110v. But since the guy lives in the states it doesn't really matter.

My next 360 project will be using one of these  As for the speaker amp it's just a simple portable speaker set. I had a phillips one laying around. But you could get any as long as the quality of the sound is good.

Thanks for the link
