Xbox 360 Power Usage

Post by Al9bob » Thu Dec 17, 2009 3:13 pm

Hey, does anyone know the power input for a Xbox 360. I currently dont know what motherboard it has, but I want to change it's power brick to a PSU and I dont really want to buy a PSU that is just overkill on power, but I dont know how much it uses.

im working on converting my 360 to a psu too, look on the power brick...
203 watts no hdmi=Xenon
203 watts with hdmi=Zephyr
175 watts with hdmi=Falcon
150 watts with hdmi=Jasper
and for a power supply something with a sustained minimum power of 12v DC current at 16.5 amps, and 5v DC at 1 Amp.

the different boards have some difference in amps but it shouldn't matter.

Yes, that supplies 18A on the 12v line and 25 on the 5 volt line so you're good.
