PS3 controller for 360 mod

I have been seeing a lot of 360 controllers on ps3 modifications and some ps3 controllers on 360. I was wondering if anyone could guide me in the right direction. I really dislike 360 controllers and wanted to try puting a ps3 controller on it. I have been told that its possible with a Dual Shock 3. Heres a nice pic of what im talking about.

Did you read the thread Gizmodo linked to? It has some more pictures that show the 360 controller board in the Dual Shock 3 case.

In theory it's pretty simple: connect the PS3 button traces to the appropriate pins to the 360 controller's encoder board. The biggest hangups I can think of are the chatpad (obviously it won't fit, but you might be able to hack it together with the PS3 controller keyboard if you wanted to) and the analog shoulder buttons.

Sorry I can't be much more help than that; I don't have any of the parts to reference.

Well The only problem i can think of is how to go about cutting hard plastic. So that I may make a holes to insert the battery pack section and such. Also I may come up with a way to insert a wired headset into it need a hole for that as well.
