I've looking around at homebrew for many systems for sometime now. I am curious, would it be possible to hack a wii rom into a different game? Like say when the conduit comes out someone got the rom from the cd and hacked into say doom 3 for the wii or halo (1,2,or 3) for the wii. What you guys opinion? is it possible?

I do not understand. Make the Conduit run on the other systems, or use it as an engine for those other games on the wii? Or something else entirely?
Excellent

good luck trying to decode the game, then understand how it works, then try to reprogram the game. You are actually better off using Doom to create your game then the conduit.

Yea, I've seen that. That was only one, Doom 3 on the wii would be sick.

would it run in Wii Linux?ninjamonkey wrote:Yea, I've seen that. That was only one, Doom 3 on the wii would be sick.

Not until they open source it. The Linux version is x86 only. (Wii uses a PowerPC processor) Unless you mean a mod to some other engine, then probably it'd work.grossaffe wrote:would it run in Wii Linux?ninjamonkey wrote:Yea, I've seen that. That was only one, Doom 3 on the wii would be sick.
