Confused about wii music

This game looks simply amazing. This IS why I bought my wii.

Yet I'm confused. The commercial says "Over 60 playable instruments"

Can you actually play 60 different instruments in the game? I've only saw videos for the drums, but that leaves 59 other instruments. Help!

Okay. Heres what I dont get. I know theres like orchestra mode and such, I dont like that, very much.

Is there a mode where you can play each instrument By itself/SOLO? (Like, just like with the drums.)
