Why not use music people put under the Creative Commons terms?

http://creativecommons.org/

It's free and legal to use their works as long as we give them credit, and we don't have to compose it all ourselves!

Good idea. Hopefully marshall'l (w00t three l's) will consider it. It seems like they have a wide range of music styles!

You can get royalty free music from newgrounds audio portal. You just have to give them credit. Theres about 10,000 songs on there.

We could use little jingles if we want, like when you're riding your bike it could play the bike-cutscene-music from Mike Tyson's Punchout
