The music is going to be made in wavs (meh quality) so search google for free wav music editing program, I'm sure you'll find one.

arent .wav failes uncompressed? cause when i export a song out of live 5 its about a meg a second, i convert em to mp3 right after that using audacity. drops it down to about a meg

Well, it's most likely uncompressed WAV files but if I can get DirectShow working then MP3 files may be an option.
Just keep 'em in MP3 and if they need to be WAV I'll do the converting.

since its a gta spoof you have to have licenesd music that is the gta way

Hey marshall, you could ofcourse use DirectShow, but i recommend you take a look at this library (which has excellent support for VB6, and is even easier to use).
