Production Art "In Box"
Moderator:Moderators
The case box art is coming out really nicely guys. Maybe cennar could even program a 2-D version that will has compatibility with the NES. Doubtful to it's creation, but that would rock because we could we could program NOACs with that game already programmed in, then we could portablize them and always have GTP built in!

Let's try to keep our thinking a little more "inside the box." M'kay?

nice job for a first time on the art.
I don't know if anyone has touched on this yet, and I would assume some people might know, but I doubt that everyone does. It's a good idea to stay away from using trademarks and official logos on this stuff.
Doing a game called "Grand Theft Portable" is already cutting it kind of close, but is probably protected as parody, but using things like the "Rockstar Games" logo or name is a bad idea, also, using the xbox name or logo is a bad idea too. And, unless it's actually been reviewed by the ESRB, don't use an ESRB logo. Also, using screen shots from a different game is a bad idea.
I really don't mean to pick on you Harshboy, I think you did a good job and I want to encourage you to do some more.

I am aware of this, all box art / game resources will be completely original. Even so, we shouldn't have any problems at all because this game is not commercial.
I don't see much point in making xbox cd art, or any other system. This game will only be for the PC, and possibly (slight chance) the GP2x awhile after the game is completed.

Anyone forget that there are x86 emus and barely working windows's for modded xboxes? So xbox work should be allowed too... *hugs his Xbox 720 and Pray$tation 5*marshallh wrote:I am aware of this, all box art / game resources will be completely original. PS360Wii Fanboy FTW!
Yes, but It would be bad on an Xbox...you could however take gta 3 or SA and tweak gfx and coding....but we would need the XDK, so it wouldn't be legal. BUT, if people want to code for it and somehow have gotten the XDK, i could test it and help code for xbox. I have a modded Xbox, and I know someone who could give me the XDK. But I think PC gaming is far superior to consoles. Dont get me wrong Xbox kicks ass, and besides GP2X we should give it a shot at PSP. Any takers?
