Alrighty, I've made a good bit of progress on the game engine but I'm afraid most of you wouldn't be able to appreciate it quite yet.. So I modeled another car! This also happens to be the car I drive.

Nice work again marshallh the car looks good! I wish there was something I could do to help out if there is anything that you don't need too much experience in using let me know or if you need me to take some pictures of things just let me know. I live near the woods so I could get some winter forest shots if you need any.

Hey cennar this kind of reminds me of gtmario what happened with that anyway, my parents are getting a better computer in a few months so maybe we could pick back up on it then.
oh i'm just using the mario skin on gtagaming.com, but if i haddnt ben recently hooked on san andreas... i would have probly made a car.

Ok, the bulk of the tile munging/loading/saving/rendering is done. I still need to implement some sort of culling (with a 16x16 tilemap, I get 15fps on TNT2)

But anyway, here's what it can do:

There's still the 3x3 roadset I'm not using here - I need to add a converter tile!

This looks uncannily like SimCity 2000....

Excellent! *air guitar moment* 8)

you guys better get the reference :P

15fps on a TNT2 isn't too bad. That's what I used for a while.
