Beowulf clustering, grid computing, etc

Ok, so my t500 is going in a cluster. I have about 4 pcs laying around, and I need some help with clustering them together.
Oh, and what's better, A grid or a cluster?

For most peoples' uses, neither. Unless you have a (usually mathematical) task that can be split up easily, it's not going to be able to help much. It's not gonna help you achieve more FPS in Crysis.

With Grid computing having the definition of "the combination of computer resources from multiple administrative domains for a common goal," I think you might be using the wrong terms.

Its not about getting more fps in crysis, I'm building it for computational and mathematical tasks.

Why not use BOINC to distribute the tasks? Then there is less setup and it will be easier to scale up and use off site computers.
