Internal DSL, as in inside your PC? If so, you need to enable internet connection sharing on that PC, and then plug in the ethernet from that PC into the WAN/Internet port of the router to share it.

I've never heard of an internal DSL modem. :?

The right way to do it is plug the Ethernet cable from your DSL modem into the router, then plug an Ethernet cable from your PC to the router. The router should have a group of Ethernet jacks (you plug computers and printers into those), and one separate one (where the modem plugs in).

Nobody should be connecting their DSL or cable modems to USB.
